Although at the start of Seven Mile Beach, and close to George Town harbour, the Treasure Island beach wasn't crowded at 10:45am on Wednesday, April 12, 2000. The ironshore at the water's edge tends to keep guests around the two attractive pools in the centre of the hotel structure, a little inland from the beach.

Good swimming, intimate surroundings and picnic tables make Smith's Cove in Sound Sound (just east of George Town), one of Grand Cayman's most delightful beaches. Not many people at 10:30am on Wednesday, April 12, 2000, but it's becoming popular and tends to be a little more crowded after lunch

The beach at Rum Point, around 3:30pm on Saturday, March 4, 2000. The Barefoot Man performs there every Saturday, from 2:00pm to 6:00pm. To avoid the crowds on the beach, go early in the day. The Barefoot Man also plays on Tuesday and Friday evenings for diners at Rum Point Restaurant.
