"World Phone": Exclusively at Turtle Nest Inn
You'd like to stay in touch with the kids, other loved ones, or even the the pet-sitter -- especially if it's the first time you haven't had them along with you on vacation? You need to stay in touch with clients, colleagues at work, or keep abreast of an important project that you're involved in? But, no one enjoys paying the often exhorbitant hotel charges for long-distance calls.
At Turtle Nest Inn, we offer a service called "World Phone" which we believe to be unique among hotels around the world. You'll no longer have to face a "stick-up", and have to choose between "your money or your life"! You can now keep both! For a fixed fee of CI$25.00 for an entire week, you can make unlimited phone calls to anywhere in the USA and Canada -- day or night. And, for CI$5 more (CI$30.00, in all), we'll install a 2.4 GHz cordless phone, with great range performance and clear audio quality, probably allowing you to use the phone even while around the Inn pool.
And, for calls to any city in Europe and elsewhere in the world, an unbeatably low per-minute rate is charged in addition to the weekly flat rate. The per-minute supplement for calls to London, Paris, Rome, Berlin, Sydney (Australia), etc., is 10¢; to Tokyo, Warsaw, Athens, Beijing, etc., 15¢; to Moscow, Budapest, etc., 20¢. Please note that the above per-minute rates apply when calling a land phone. Rates for calling a cell phone in certain countries can be substantially higher.
But, there's a limited number of "World Phone" lines installed at the Inn, so reserving one when you book your stay -- or at least in advance of your arrival -- is strongly suggested. Aside from guaranteeing availability, reserving in advance also allows us to have the line in your apartment activated and ready to use as soon as you arrive. Should you decide at any point during your stay to have a "World Phone" activated, please come to the office and check availability. A daily rate of CI$8.00 (or CI$9.00 with the cordless phone) applies for three days activation or less.
