Farewell notes from our Guest Register
May 2007
  • "We came here for our 10-day honeymoon and it was incredible! From the Inn perspective, the owners, Alain and Marleine were awesome. Also, Donna and the rest of the staff worked so hard to make sure our stay was perfect. The Inn is an amazing place! From the Island perspective, the food was to die for! The activities and natural beauty are second to none in the Caymans! Thank you Turtle Nest Inn for a perfect honeymoon!!!" J.H.&S.H., Fairbanks, Alaska, USA (May 31, 2007)

  • "We were convinced that Turtle Nest was the place for us when we checked it out on the website. It has lived up to our expectations and way beyond. Marliene and Alain have developed the ideal holiday package with all needs anticipated and catered for. Many thanks..." R.R.&V.R., London, England, UK (May 29, 2007)

  • "Merci, Merci, Merci!!! Le TNI est parfait. We have had such a lovely stay --  it is tranquil, beautiful and most hospitable! Marleine, merci d'avoir parlé francais avec moi! Nous reviendrons..." J.V.&O.V., St. Louis, Missouri, USA (May 29, 2007)

  • "We enjoyed our visit immensely. Apt 7 could not be more beautiful or well provisioned and designed. 'Beachfront Living' was  a pleasure marred only by its brevity. Marleine & Alain were lovely hosts and a key part of the experience. Smith's Cove, Cemetery Beach, & Rum Point were each exquisite -- making this an ideal location. Extraordinary value and the tranquility we were seeking. We'll be back." S.S.&A.S., Fullerton, California, USA (May 28, 2007)

  • "Thank you for being such great hosts. Your Inn is fabulous. We had a great time. Unfortunately, we have to go home." G.H.&B.H., Sacramento, California, USA (May 26,2007)

  • "Jimmy and I stayed here for our honeymoon, we had a wonderful experience. The rooms were always clean and nice. The view and snorkeling at the Inn were amazing. Thank you for making our stay special and helping to make our honeymoon memorable. We hope to come back and see you again in the future!" J.P.&S.P., Edmond, Oklahoma, USA (May 26, 2007)

  • "Here on our honeymoon, couldn't have asked for a more perfect place. Nice secluded beach, awesome snorkeling, friendly innkeepers & staff. Thanks for a perfect stay!" A.A.&A.A., Chapel Hill, North Carolina, USA (May 25, 2007)

  • "Our stay at TNI was great. It was a beautiful place to see the Island from. The room was perfect and we loved our wonderful view of the ocean. Thank you for the great hospitality and all the help!" M.J.&S.J., Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA (May 25, 2007)

  • "We chose to stay at TNI after much Internet research & we feel all the info we got was accurate & beneficial in choosing our lodging. TNI has a gorgeous view, amazing marine life right outside the door, and the room was nice & comfortable. Donna was awesome, so friendly & helpful. Grand Cayman is amazingly beautiful & we enjoyed our stay." M.B.&D.B., Anderson, South Carolina, USA (May 24, 2007)

  • "We did our homework before coming to Grand Cayman & Turtle Nest Inn & it totally paid off! Turtle Nest Inn is amazing! It's like having a private condo but with tons of amenities & exceptional service that you can't find just anywhere. Thank you Donna for everything! May the Lord continue to bless you & the Turtle Nest! P.S. Your beds are firm enough." M.S.&M.S., Olive Branch, Mississippi, USA (May 22, 2007)

  • "Thank you for a wonderful stay! We loved the Inn, its staff, and its pets, particularly Vitamine, the most dog-like cat we've ever met! The scenery here is lovely, needless to say. We found much to do and look forward to returning some day. Stingray City was a highlight, but we also loved snorkeling off this beach. The weather was not great, but in the end it didn't matter. We just wish we we'd brought raincoats. Again, thank you." G.M.&L.M., Baltimore, Maryland, USA (May 22, 2007)

  • "Thank you for my short stay before the Tourism Conference at the Westin Casuarina. I much prefer the southern and eastern end of the Island. Rum Point is a real gem. Your guest house has a nice homely atmosphere." G.B., Bollington, Cheshire, UK (May 21, 2007)

  • "Wonderful little Inn! I liked the location, a little off the beaten path. The only thing I would change.... it rained a bit too much this week, and I would like a firmer bed. The Hospitality was excellent!! I really enjoyed the fact that there was a dog & cat at the Inn. It made me miss my dog back home. The scuba diving & Stingray City were excellent! I felt like I was in a giant aquarium. Great visit! Thanks much!" L.M., Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA (May 21, 2007)

  • "Nice little place. I really liked the quiet on this end of the island, definitely better than an impersonal mega-resort. I'm sure the Hyatt wouldn't have a 4-legged greeter at the door. I missed my dog! Only bummer was the rain, but that doesn't really affect the underwater scenery! Thanks for the hospitality." K.K., Wake Forest, North Carolina, USA (May 21, 2007)

  • "Up: The Inn & staff -- both wonderful; the restaurant recommendations (don't hesitate to try the local jerk chicken joints); the suggestion we try Rum Point (not for everyone, but we found it terrific); the suggestion we try Fantasea Tours for our trip to Stingray Sandbar. The stingrays & Capt. Dexter are not to be missed. Down: The weather was very changeable, but overall probably kept us from burning up, especially John (the Inn, of course, has no control over the weather). The Best: Donna & her recommendations and history lessons. Wish we had more time. Fantastic time!" J.B&C.B., Mineral, Virginia, USA (May 20,2007)

  • "Fabulous! Your attention to detail and gracious, accommodations are remarkable. Truly like visiting home away from home. Make sure to ask wonderful Donna about the local Playhouse, It's close enough to enjoy... Regards, your pampered and appreciative guests..." L.K.&L.R., Alexandria, Virginia, USA (May 19,2007)

  • "This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and aside from the weather we had a wonderful time. Turtle Nest Inn is a wonderful place, very cozy and relaxing. The staff was very accommodating and pleasant, especially Donna. We could get used to this place. The location of the Inn was perfect for us as we drove both east and west ends of the Island. Thanks again for a very pleasant holiday." R.B.&L.B., Portland, Oregon, USA (May 19,2007)

  • "Thank you so much for the perfect vacation spot. We were so amazed at how close our patio was to the water edge! If we had to do it all aver again, we'd do it all the same. Looking forward to coming back again. Thank you for the hospitality!" P.D.&J.D., Memphis, Tennessee, USA (May 19,2007)

  • "Thanks for a great stay in the Caymans and at TNI. We especially enjoyed the snorkeling and watching the pelican fill his belly every day. My husband loved the awesome grill -- we had steak, vegetables and lobster tail just last night! We will consider returning to the Cayman Islands to enjoy the beautiful turquoise waters and great sea life soon." S.H.&C.H., St. Louis, Missouri, USA (May 18, 2007)

  • "Turtle Nest Inn had so many glowing recommendations from independent traveller review website www.tripadvisor.com that I knew it would be a wonderful place to spend our honeymoon. And it was even better than the recommendations! Highlights: the sunrise each morning; swimming with triggerfish, huge rainbow parrotfish, barracuda and rays; the uncrowded beach; the friendliness of all at the Inn, especially Vitamine; the kindness of all the staff and Alain and Marleine; the delightful jazz evening. We enjoyed cooking in the well-equipped apartment and watching the colours of sea and sky change. A magical start to our married life -- THANK YOU TURTLE NEST INN!" R.O.&P.O., London, England, UK (May 16, 2007)

  • "We enjoyed our stay at Turtle Nest Inn so much! It was so lovely and comfortable. Our hosts and the staff were so welcoming and accommodating. The view of the sea from our balcony was something we will surely miss and watching the sun rise each morning reflected in the water! Alain & Marleine did everything possible to make our stay as enjoyable as possible -- they have created a treasure of an Inn for their guests to enjoy!" B.E.&D.E., Durham, North Carolina, USA (May 14, 2007)

  • "A restful and energetic vacation both at the same time. Cayman Kayaks was great as was Captain Dexter's trip. Thanks for the recommendations. The visit to the Mission House was lovely. But of course your Inn, yourselves and your staff providing a calm and friendly home away from home was great. As a traveler alone I appreciated the BBC! The kitchen facilities and the friendly village walks. Thank you all." H.P., Tucson, Arizona, USA (May 14, 2007)

  • "Marleine & Alain: What an incredible pleasure it was to stay at your beautiful Inn!! We are so sad to leave you and are planning to come back in 5 years to celebrate our anniversary!!  Take care until then..." S.M.&E.M., Tega Cay, South Carolina, USA (May 7, 2007)

  • "It is a very sad day for us since it is our last one at this lovely Inn and beautiful island. We could not have asked for more, everything was spectacular.
