This is the ideal spot for a family vacation and, this year, a 30th birthday celebration for our daughter, Dana. In addition to snorkeling, golf, shopping, sunning, reading & great meals, our greatest pleasure is spending time with you and the wonderful people you attract to Turtle Nest Inn. Of course, it never hurts to leave the cold weather in Chicago for a few days in January. We look forward to a return trip next year. Thanks for your wonderful hospitality, including two great dogs! Holiday decorations at Turtle Nest Inn, by Carol and Tom Bennett.
"Dear Alain and Marleine: I will never forget the marvelous week we spent on Grand Cayman, nor will I ever regret choosing to stay at the Turtle Nest Inn, far from the 'madding crowd'. We were close enough to all the attractions to reach them conveniently, yet we didn't have to cope will the throngs of cruise ship passengers in George Town and along Seven Mile Beach. The beach at Turtle Nest Inn was just right, and the water was perfect. You two are great hosts, fine chefs, and now, good friends. You asked for guidance, based on our experience there, on attractions other visitors might consider. I would place Cap'n Dexter's catamaran ride out to the Stingrays and the coral reef at the very top. Second would come Pedro-St. James. Third would come the Queen Eliz. Botanic Park. Next, and it was tough sledding, not for everyone, would be the long hike back into the old-growth forest with Geddes Hyslop. Wild birds galore, parrots feeding in the tree tops, non-venomous snakes, and very curious geological formations. Oh, yes, I mustn't forget the para-sailing over at Rum Point...what a thrill for this ol geezer! Perhaps, the good Lord willing and the creek don't rise, we will meet again someday at the Turtle Nest Inn. Au revoir, mes amis." J.W., Donalds, South Carolina, USA (January 16, 2001)
"Dear Marleine and Alain: The Turtle Nest Inn is everything promised! With all the conveniences of home, we felt like we could stay weeks, months...in the breezy, beautiful apartments. You were both so very accommodating and friendly! The Turtle Nest Inn is truly a little piece of paradise with such a beautiful building, lovely pool, and beautiful beachfront! Thank you for a wonderful vacation getaway!" C.M.&C.M., Richmond, Virginia, USA (January 15, 2001)

Every day was a voyage of discovery among friendly and helpful islanders. Tops on our list were Stingray Sandbar with Capt. Dexter, Pedro-St. James, parasailing and the Botanic Garden." The view from the Inn lobby, and two happy guests, Ryan and Jacob, by Theresa and Mike Kahn.
"Turtle Nest Inn far exceeded our expectations. After staying on 7 mile beach for 5 days, it was nice to explore another area of the island. The snorkeling right outside the Inn is excellent, we went out every day of our stay! The dinners were great and a nice way to get to know the guests and hosts better. All the personal touches make the difference -- the M&Ms on the crème brûlée, the extra cherries in the kiddie cocktail. We enjoyed our entire Cayman Island experience. Love 'n Hugs." A.M.,K.M.,K.M.&S.M., Downers Grove, Illinois, USA (January 8, 2001)
"Marleine & Alain: Thanks so much for all that you did to make our stay wonderful. We will always remember our stay in a turtle nest with a smile. You're the best! Love..." M.L&J.G., Petaluma, California, USA (January 8, 2001)

"Dear Alain & Marleine: Celebrating our 2nd honeymoon after 18 years of marriage, here at the TNI has been many times better than we ever dreamed of. We had privacy, seclusion, but you were always there when we needed you. The most memorable times were the Indian dinner the night we arrived. That was a blast and allowed us to meet a warm, friendly couple that we hope to keep in contact with. Then the bonfire on New Year's Eve. That was a blast. After drinking all the champagne, we came upstairs & couldn't stop laughing. Each morning we walked 1½ miles up the beach and back, coming back home to the TNI for coffee. Last night we walked up the beach to The Edge for dinner - one of the best meals of our trip! As we walked back, the Inn was all lit up & beautiful - we felt so lucky to be staying here. We spent one day on 7 mile beach. Who would ever want to stay down there when the TNI is right here? We loved our stay, meeting you & the dogs, and we will definitely be back! God bless!...Of all of the vacation spots we have been to, this was by far the most pleasant and comfortable." P.M.&J.M., River Falls, Wisconsin, USA (January 5, 2001)
