Farewell notes from our Guest Register (January/2004)
"Dear Marleine & Alain: Thank you so much for having TNI to come to. I found it on the Internet through recommendations from travel articles, and I was not disappointed. The cleanliness & daily housekeeping were more than I could have hoped for, and the apartment always smelled so good! The Indian dinner was superb, and felt like a party. All in all, your hospitality made us feel more like guests than customers. P.S. Calypso Grill is worth the drive!" P.F.&C.N., Vacaville, California, USA (January 31, 2004)

Getting to know the inhabitants at Stingray City (Mitch Flynn and
Ellen Goldstein)
"The main difference you'll find here is hospitality second to none. It's like staying at an 8-room Four Seasons. The warm feel of being 'home' when you're on vacation can be lost at large hotels. It provides the quintessential atmosphere for a Cayman vacation. I found the drive in & out of town relaxing -- almost as if it were a daily tour of the island. A return trip is defintiely in order here at the 'nest'." T.R., Tampa, Florida, USA (January 31, 2004)
"Marleine and Alain: We enjoyed our stay with you at this most special spot. We will never tire (or see all there is to see) while snorkeling in your beautiful lagoon. Your thoughtful attention and loving care to all aspects of the Inn and its guests makes this a unique and wonderful experience. We wish you both the best, and many thanks. P.S. Vitamine is the sweetest cat. We greatly enjoyed her. Also the jerk chicken stand was authentic & a great deal, as you said. I really enjoyed meeting you & we all hope to return." B.V.,A.V.&D.V., Washington, D.C., USA (January 27, 2004)

A view of the Inn beach (Kathy and Mark Mucha)
"We had a wonderful time! We definitely recommend Over the Edge (restaurant) in Old Man Bay! We also loved Tortuga rum cake! The hosts are superb & the weather lovely! Driving around the island is a real treat! Turtle Nest Inn is the best! Great Sunday brunch at Portofino! Also, don't do without rum punch and jerk chicken! Best to all..." D.R.&K.R., Burke, Virginia, USA (January 27, 2004)
"Absolutely wonderful place! Beautiful, incredibly nice people, and exactly what we were looking for. We are sad to leave, but we will definitely be back -- thanks so much!!" T.S.&J.S., Albany, New York, USA (January 26, 2004)

"We have had a great vacation on Grand Cayman and loved staying at TNI. It was nice to come back from a day of diving to be greeted by Blackie at the front door! Enjoyed our visits with Beatrice & Vitamine (the cats) by the pool and the great view from our apartment. Hope to come back to visit again soon. Thanks for the hospitality!" A.C.&B.C., Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada (January 25, 2004)
"Our third trip to Turtle Nest Inn was more comfortable and relaxing than the last. While that is difficult to imagine, we feel at home here. Marleine and Alain make you feel like old friends and family the moment you arrive. Fishing with Marleine's neighbor, Olson, is a must. Out to sea in a 16-foot wooden boat with a 40hp engine and a smaller backup! We did catch fish, and I was thankful it wasn't a marlin. Those two men would still be out there. We always have wonderful recommendations for dinner too from Marleine and Alain, as well as snorkelling trips. Capt. Danny Phillips is great at showing you around. Looking forward to next year. Time to go home to a snow storm." S.B.&G.C., Woodbridge, Virginia, USA (January 25, 2004)
"Alain & Marleine: The true Caribbean is at Bodden Town. The ambiance was truely seductive to the senses. Service & accommodations were impeccable. Hope to be back soon." N.K.&C.C., Mays Landing, New Jersey, USA (January 24, 2004)

An upper-floor beachfront apartment at the Inn
"Marleine and Alain: Your Inn is delightful. We had an incredibly relaxing vacation. Our apartment, looking over the beautiful sea, was perfect. And the terrace dinner last night could not have been better -- good food and good company, and great hosts." J.F.&S.F., Newport, Kentucky, USA (January 17, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: Thank you so much for your wonderful hospitality and for helping to make our beach wedding exactly as we had hoped it would be. We appreciate this affordable alternative, and without Turtle Nest Inn, probably would not have been able to spend a week here on beautiful Grand Cayman. We ate at many fine restaurants while here, but your terrace dinner was one of the best. Thank you for everything!!" C.C.&B.M., Medford, Oregon, USA (January 13, 2004)
"Alain & Marleine: Once again you have outdone yourselves!! Turtle Nest Inn is spectacular. You really can not find a better view on the island. Each morning Christopher and I woke up to a beautiful view of the crystal clear Cayman waters. The service is excellent, the apartment is extremely clean and spacious. We would like to thank you again for your kindness, generosity and the personal touch that helped to make our visit so special. This is our second year back. There will be a third. Best wishes in the New Year!" N.S.&C.L., Willington, Connecticut, USA (January 13, 2004)

The beachfront terrace at the Inn (Wendy Eakle)
"This has been a haven of tranquility. The beach setting and sea sounds are utterly relaxing. As hosts you are always helpful, never intrusive and everything is spotlessly clean. Easy access to good restaurants makes dining a treat. Thank you Alain & Marleine for a great relaxing break." R.B.&R.B., Sheffield, England, UK (January 9, 2004)

"Dear Marleine & Alain: Happy New Year! Thank you for creating such a wonderful and tranquil place for us to spend the holidays. There is nothing we wanted for (except maybe a few chickens' heads). We hope to see you next year to ring in 2005. We loved New Years Eve -- the food and most of all the company. Peace & good fortune to you and your friends!" K.Z.&L.Z., Los Angeles, California, USA (January 1, 2004)
"Dear Marleine and Alain: You have created a lovely place, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. One highlight was Vitamine's (the cat) regular morning visits to our balcony. What a sweetheart. Your Caribbean Tapas dinner was wonderful, and the snorkeling right off the beach was a real treat. Since this was our first visit to Grand Cayman we spent a lot of our time exploring the whole island. We'd love to come back and just 'hang out' at the Inn -- and hopefully someday we will!" M.F.&B.F., Pine City, New York, USA (January 1, 2004)
