Farewell notes from our Guest Register (May/2002)
"We have finally discovered the perfect arrangement for us as we dive around the world. The accommodation has been 5* and at the same time allowed us to eat when we wish to and what we want -- important when diving each day. Of course the personal hospitality of Alain & Marleine surpasses what one can expect in the best hotel. Thanks to you both for getting it right and we hope to be back in the years to come." P.M.&L.M., West Hoathly, West Sussex, England (May 31, 2002)
"We could not have asked for a more beautiful vacation. The Tapas dinner was incredible, as was your hospitality throughout our stay. We hope to return to the island and to your inn very soon." T.H.&A.W., Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (May 31, 2002)

"Alain & Marleine: After many years without a vacation, you hope to find a place that doesn't disappoint. We were lucky enough to have selected the Turtle Nest Inn. Its intimate, relaxing and romantic atmosphere provided us with the perfect prescription for unwinding and learning to relax again. I would recommend the Turtle Nest Inn to all looking for the feel of being at home away from home. The setting was perfect for the marriage proposal and its acceptance. Thank you and your staff for a wonderful memory. Will definitely recommend you to everyone and will return ourselves in the not-too-distant future to again experience serene Paradise." A.B.&M.M., Springfield, Pennsylvania, USA (May 29, 2002)
"Alain & Marleine: Thank you for everything. You made our wedding on the beach a beautiful occasion. Everything was perfect, except for the brief shower! The honeymoon was also wonderful. You inn is beautiful and we will recommend it to our friends. Thanks again." H.R. Conroe, Texas, USA (May 26, 2002)

"Dear Marleine and Alain: Wonderful time at your Inn. Your hospitality has been 'A1'. Real treat to spend 3 weeks here. Pleased to have met you and some of your guests, including inlaws -- good fisherman. Can't wait until we return either as guests or maybe residents?!! From the Divemaster and the Dive Widow." "Dear Alain & Marleine: Thank you for sharing your slice of heaven with us. We both needed some time away from the craziness life brings. The solitude was priceless. The hospitality you two shared with us was very appreciated. This was by far one of the best weeks of our lives -- also it was a surprise birthday Present (Natalie, May 22) -- which will be remembered forever. The Turtle Nest Inn was spotless! Hats off to your wonderful staff who was always 'smiling'. So sorry about your door frame breaking -- just prior to me entering. It was a sign that we should stay!!! However our five kids would hunt us down & remind us that life is not always this heavenly (or quiet, ha ha). We will be back. Thanks for everything! P.S: The first moment we were here Frank said 'I feel like I am at someone's house'. I said, 'We are!!' You two are an inspiration -- best of luck to your dream come true. Frank & I would love to live in Grand Cayman someday; until then we will return to visit you both. We found this slice of heaven on the Internet & loved it the second we laid eyes on it. Words are not enough to tell you how wonderful our experience was. You will forever live in our hearts. Sincerely..." N.G.&F.G., Cape Coral, Florida, USA (May 24, 2002)

"Dear Alain & Marleine: Thank you for being our gracious hosts for the best vacation ever! I wanted something special for my 50th birthday & our 20th anniversary, & the Turtle Nest Inn exceeded my hopes in every way. The rooms, the amenities, the views, the Indian dinner & the spectacular snorkeling just outside the door only begin to tell the story. Your graciousness made our stay here very special. The Indian dinner was a great way to meet folks (and a wonderful meal). The oceanfront views are exceptional. The mahi mahi was a treat (M, thank your dad)! I do not want to leave! Next vacation we'll have to stay 2 weeks. I hope you both stay well. Until next time, with kind regards..." K.H.&J.F., Ithica, New York, USA (May 13, 2002)

The memories and emotions experienced during our stay almost defy expression...Thank you so much for the terrace dinners...they were absolutely splendid, and without a doubt, the best dining experience we had during our week's stay. The dinner 'toasts' recognizing Cathie's and my marriage celebration were very thoughtful...This week has been a dream come true. And we are very pleased we chose the Turtle Nest as our home for this special occasion. See you next year!" C.M.&C.B., Wassaic, New York, USA (May 9, 2002)

"Dear Alain & Marleine: It was a wonderful stay for us! It's the first time we have traveled like this and with your help it has been more than what I think we both would have expected. The dinners were very well appreciated and enjoyed. I (Toni) probably would not have tried those foods on my own somewhere else. Both Gale and I liked them a lot. (I won't be preparing them, though!) It's been a wonderful week, the room was great (I think you spoiled me with the maid)! Thanks again for everything. Take care and hope to see ya'll again. Sincerely...P.S. "Marleine and Alain: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at your inn. You are the perfect host and hostess. The tender loving care that you have put into the Turtle Nest is very evident and appreciated. The extra special touches, such as the shell placemats, the pictures, the tropical decor, and the colored bath towels make us feel right at home. (We wish we had a view like this in Kentucky!) Your Indian dinner was a treat! The food was delicious (full of flavor) and the view was beautiful! Thank you so much for helping make our vacation so enjoyable! Merci beaucoup! P.S. Blackie was great, too!" J.K.&D.G., Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA (May 3, 2002)
