Farewell notes from our Guest Register (July/2002)
"Dave and Debbie: Thanks for a wonderful time here on the island. This was our honeymoon and was one we'll never forget. The snorkeling was amazing, as were the stingrays. We had a wonderful time at TNI and we hope to be back soon. Cheers!" J.H.&J.A., Annapolis, Maryland, USA (July 31, 2002)

"Marleine and Alain: Let me start by saying that I very much enjoyed my stay at Turtle Nest. Your guest hosts were very nice and helpful, and we even had some enjoyable conversations. Your room #2 was great for me -- just a step to the car, and two to the beach. What more could I ask for! Your Inn is a nice, quiet place and very relaxing. I would most certainly like to stay at your Inn again. If you ever decide to come out our way, please let us know because we would be more than happy to show you around." R.R., Havana, Cuba (July 26, 2002)
"This was a great choice for us to stay here. The inn is perfect. Sorry we didn't get to meet you, but Dave & Deborah were very helpful and did an awesome job!! P.S: Next time, oceanfront!" H.M.&R.M., Roselle, New Jersey, USA (July 23, 2002)

"Alain & Marleine: Thank you very much for the wonderful stay! My family & I had a wonderful time at Grand Cayman!! Your inn was all I imagined & more. What a view from the lobby & the 'open-air' feeling throughout. We have stayed at a lot of places over the years & by far your place was the cleanest, friendliest, and most enjoyable! Dave & Deborah were wonderful & did an excellent job! We will see you again very soon!" J.W.,S.W.&A.W., Midway, Kentucky, USA (July 22, 2002)

Stunning sensets on Grand Cayman (Tony DiMaso and Carolina Betka)
"Treasure is everywhere, mostly on the beach which I collected every morning and am about to take home. (I'm sitting in the lobby and keep getting distracted by the sea.) Ah, well. Goodbye, sea. This was a thoroughly delightful two weeks and only the seven year old wants to go home. Thanks..." E.P.,M.P.,E.P.&S.P., Rhinebeck, New York, USA (July 21, 2002)
"Thank you so very much for taking care of us throughout our stay. This has been the first time my friend and I have traveled so far away from home without our parents, and we really appreciate your hospitality. Our stay was wonderful, and I will definitely recommend this place to anyone considering a stay on the islands. Sincerely..." A.R.&L.R., Mt. Gilead, North Carolina, USA (July 21, 2002)
"Alain & Marleine: You left the inn in very capable hands. Dave & Deborah were excellent hosts. Here are our 'must-do's' for all subsequent visitors: 1. Go w/ Captain Dexter to see Stingray City. Try to get on the morning tour - there were only 6 people in our group! Accept no substitutes! 2. Eat at the Almond Tree. Stay long enough to watch them feed the tarpons. 3. Try some ICOA chocolate. Go early in your visit - you'll want more. 4. Don't miss learning about the history of the island - Pedro St. James, the Nat'l Museum - they really give you a sense of the place. 5. And lastly, take time to relax by the pool and do absolutely nothing. Thanks for making my birthday memorable. Regards..." D.B.&R.B., Suffolk, Virginia, USA (July 20, 2002)

The seclusion of the Inn beach -- even at full occupancy (Diane and George Ahlman)
"We had a wonderful 18th anniversary trip. Our hosts were friendly, accommodating and helpful -- and fulfilled special requests (a sun umbrella for our personal use). The restaurant recommendations did not disappoint, and the room was spacious, clean, and had all we needed. It was a pleasure meeting you both -- I really enjoyed practicing my very rusty French which I haven't studied/used since the 1970's!! Thank you for your patience and encouragement during these chats. We really appreciated all the special little touches -- the bread, having chairs and umbrella for our excursions. «J'aime bien les deux chats - Vitamine et Béatrice, et le chien Blacky.» Aurevoir mes nouveaux amis!" F.F.&K.F., Augusta, Georgia, USA (July 17, 2002)
"Our third visit to Turtle Nest was the best and longest too. Each year we come we soon book for the next. So, see you in July 2003 for another stay at the perfect vacation home." R.M.&E.M., Emporia, Kansas, USA (July 16, 2002)
"We love the Cayman Islands -- our 3rd visit and 1st to the Turtle Nest Inn. A most delightful, beautiful, relaxing spot! Alain and Marleine are so gracious, friendly and helpful. They arranged the 'best deal' on our rental car, their recommendations for a trip to Stingray City with Capt. Dexter was THE BEST, and their European bread was delicious. How personal and accommodationg! We look forward to returning. Also, their recommendation for Ocean Frontiers dive shop was excellent!" L.B.&R.B., San Luis Obispo, California, USA (July 16, 2002)

Flowers around Turtle Nest Inn (Diane and George Ahlman)
"When Frank was looking for a place to stay in Cayman he had one major criteria: to stay away from 'tourist central'. Not only does TNI allow a real vacation away from the chaos of the crowds but it becomes a home very quickly. It is only with the love and caring of Alain & Marleine that such a feat is possible. Their style and gracious nature speak through the Turtle Nest Inn and make everyone feel comfortable and welcome. After a day of diving and getting around on the island it is a special treat to come back to the Turtle Nest Inn and relax, swim in the pool, have a cocktail, and fall asleep almost always without hearing another person speak! Thank you for our best vacation yet! Love..." J.F.&F.P., Madison, Wisconsin, USA (July 14, 2002)
"Thanks for everything. The place is absolutely breathtaking. Will definitely return." L.C.&B.R., Grove City, Ohio, USA (July 13, 2002)
"What a fabulous place! This was our first time to Cayman & we just LOVED it! Lots of great snorkeling, sunning & excursions. Stingray City was very exciting! We should have had a trail map for the 'Mastic Trail'. At the end of the hike we ended up 6 miles away from our car. We saw lots of green parrots at the Botanical Gardens. Wow! Our favorite place to eat was the Lighthouse at Breakers - superb service, view & food! At Rum Point we found some spectacular purple coral snorkeling. This week has been just wonderful! P.S: We will be back!" C.B.&T.D., Chicago, Illinois, USA (July 13, 2002)

"Dear Alain & Marleine: This is our first trip here to the island, and words cannot express how greatful we are to have stayed at the Turtle Nest! We are on our honeymoon and you made our trip here very, very memorable! From the lending of your camera to us, to the snorkel stuff! Thank you!! All of the places you recommended were wonderful! The last thing we did before we left was the horseback riding on the beach at sunset! That was the best! We will see you again soon! We think this is the best kept secret of Grand cayman! On our return trip we are bringing friends to experience this!" C.W.&C.W., Syracuse, New York, USA (July 5, 2002)
