Farewell notes from our Guest Register (July/2004)
"A huge thank you for being an integral part of the best vacation we've ever had. TNI truly felt like our home away from home. Our apartment was spectacular -- loved our patio so much! A thank you to your staff for keeping it so immaculate! Your beachfront terrace dinner was the best we had on the island! Everything exceeded our expectations! We will see you again next year! Thanks again!" G.S.&A.B., Orlando, Florida, USA (July 31, 2004)

Your first glimpse of the Caribbean Sea as you enter the Inn (Ron and Elizabeth McCoy)
"This will be the first of many times here at Turtle Nest Inn. We loved having such a nice 'big' apartment with a great view and lovely hosts. We will be back to stay in #8 again. This part of the island is so private, quiet...a great vacation getaway. The view from the balcony was a post card. The best times were reading books under the shade of the coconut tree with Vitamine (the cat) snoozing on our chairs. Thanks again and we will be back to see you as soon as we can." J.B.&S.A., Houston, Texas, USA (July 31, 2004)
"Thank you so much for the most wonderful week! Johanna said several times that at any other hotel we wouldn't have gotten to have 2 (birthday) parties. Singing and having a cake for her was very thoughtful. The apartment was lovely and very comfortable. The island is spectacular. We'll see you next year." P.B.,P.B.&J.B., Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (July 31, 2004)
"It has been a wonderful week here. The beauty of this island is amazing. We had a great, relaxing time here. It truly will be a memorable one! Your inn is wonderful. Such a wonderful, peaceful place. Thanks for a great time!" C.I.&M.I., Rockaway, New Jersey, USA (July 31, 2004)

"Travelled a long way from Scotland but well worth it! Had an unforgettable stay here at the Inn -- the ocean view is just stunning and the peaceful walks along your shore will last us throughout the year ahead. Thanks for a great visit!" A.H.&I.H., Glasgow, Scotland, UK (July 24, 2004)

"Thanks for everything!" C.C.,B.C.&C.C., Warrenton, Virginia, USA (July 24, 2004)
"What a great week...after the 1st day of travel: 1 person left at airport; nearly missed plane; 3 bags lost in transport; 1 bag left at loading gate; 1 lost party in a rental car; wallet lost, stolen, returned. All's well that ends well, as it always will at Turtle Nest Inn! Thanks for making our stay wonderful." C.A.,N.A.,C.A.&D.A., Warrenton, Virginia, USA (July 24, 2004)

"While spending a month exploring paradise it has been pure luxury to come 'home' in the evening to such wonderful accommodations. Although we missed Alain and Marleine, it was a treat to still be here when they arrived back home from their holiday. Barbara was so friendly as a hostess. Doreen, her husband, McCoy and the rest of the staff definitely made this a perfect vacation. We are anxious to return to Turtle Nest Inn, the beautiful wonders the sea unfolds to snorkelers, the fun of Taste of Cayman (an annual culinary festival), glorious beaches, breakfasts watching the ocean, and the wonderful people of Turtle Nest Inn." D.R.&N.R., San Diego, California, USA (July 24, 2004)
"What a perfect place to spend our 20th wedding anniversary. Your Inn is beautiful and the service was incredible. Barbara and the staff made us so comfortable, they were perfect hosts. My husband & I relaxed while our kids found so much to do. My 11 yr. old son loved the kayak, he could have stayed out there forever. We all enjoyed the gorgeous pool and ocean view, the pool toys were great for the kids. We are sad as we have to leave -- this is truly a beautiful, unique, and special place! Thanks for letting us call it home for a week!" K.M.&R.M., Katy, Texas, USA (July 21, 2004)
"My husband and I had a superb time here in Cayman and at Turtle Nest Inn. The staff was so nice, the rooms were beautiful and the view was breathtaking. We loved having our room cleaned every day, and the snorkeling in front of the Inn was beautiful. We're divers but we thought the snorkeling here was as good as some of the dives! Thank you for a wonderful time!" M.E.&K.E., Roseville,California, USA (July 18, 2004)

"A haven of peace and tranquility. From the moment we walked through the door and saw that view! Barbara proved the perfect hostess, charming, helpful, ever attentive. We look forward to our return." J.B.&S.B.,Chandlers Ford, England, UK (July 18, 2004)
"I loved the view from when I looked at it from the foyer. Being able to just use all the inflatables was great and the place has a really relaxed atmosphere." A.B., Chandlers Ford, England, UK (July 18, 2004)
"We thought the third stay at TNI would be the charm -- this was our fifth visit and it only gets better with each season and each year. See you in December!" R.M.&E.M., Emporia, Kansas, USA (July 17, 2004)

The front of the Inn (Jeff and Gerry Franklin)
"What can we say!! A most enjoyable vacation -- Barbara was wonderful as was everyone connected with the Inn. We had great meals at various restaurants on the island and will leave feeling relaxed and happy -- just what we were hoping for. Hate to go, but reality beckons! P.S. Snorkeling at Rum Point and out of Yacht Club was wonderful. All the praise well deserved about the Inn and staff. Would highly recommend to all." V.B.&T.B., Middletown, New Jersey, USA (July 17, 2004)
"We had a wonderful stay at your lovely inn. We will never forget the beautiful sunrises and the gorgeous reef. Barbara was most helpful and so very pleasant. The staff kept our room immaculate anad were very polite. We will definitely be returning to Turtle Nest Inn -- soon we hope!" A.H.&J.H., Columbus, Ohio, USA (July 16, 2004)
"Wonderful! The first vacation in 2 years and what a way to go. Grand Cayman and TNI were the perfect place for us to escape our world of childhood cancer, doctors, medicines etc...Away from the crowds of 7 Mile Beach, halfway between everthing we wanted to do, and a beautiful and relaxing poolside and beach. Isn't it lucky that we found you? Staff have been wonderful. We will definitely tell EVERYONE about your lovely inn. Thank you! P.S. LOVED the animals." R.M.&A.M., Keokuk, Iowa, USA (July 14, 2004)

"Fabulous -- we don' t think words can explain what a fabulous week we have had. After a hectic wedding weekend, Turtle Nest Inn was a perfect place to relax. Having breakfast on the patio was the start of each of our fantastic days. The snorkeling at the Inn was truly one of our favorite spots. We look forward to coming back for an anniversary." M.K.&C.J., Weymouth, Massachusetts, USA (July 13, 2004)
"Wonderful! Just need more rooms so we could have stayed longer. So quiet and peaceful. Staff couldn't have been friendlier. Can't wait to come back and hopefully get to stay longer." M.S.&D.S., Carrollton, Texas, USA (July 10, 2004)
"Perfect in every way. TNI is the only place to stay in CI. Clean, quiet, and your own beach with some of the best snorkeling on the island. Great coral. Be sure and check out Eden Rock. We will be back!" M.M.&C.M., Sugarbowl, Texas, USA (July 9, 2004)

"Thanks to Barbara, Doreen and Fernanda for a great 9 day vacation at TNI. We were sorry to have not met Marleine and Alain, but Barbara did a fantastic job of answering any questions and making us feel right at home. We were here with our two teenage kids and our relatives from Virginia also rendez-vous-ed with us here. It was a peaceful place to get together and all the homey touches were appreciated, as we did a fair amount of cooking. And who needs pricey tropical cocktails out when we could whip some up right here with the blender and ice machine? I can't fail to mention what a great job the housekeeeping staff did, and every day our place (#7) was spotless. After a hot drive from a day of snorkeling and sightseeing it was wonderful to return to fresh sheets and towels, and start the next day with beach towels freshly cleaned. We loved our visit! P.S. We loved having some great books to read from your library and we even watched a movie one night!" S.C., Grover Beach, California, USA (July 9, 2004)
"Thank you, thank you!! We have absolutely loved this vacation and the Turtle Nest Inn. We joined family from CA (previous entry) and had about the best family reunion possible. My dear sister-in-law had the good fortune to find the glorious TNI on the Internet. This was far more than good luck -- it was a blessing! The homey and comfortable atmosphere of this lovely inn is exactly what we love. Having heard such nice things about Marleine and Alain, we're sorry we did not have an opportunity to meet them. However, all those positives certainly apply to Barbara also. I've so enjoyed my conversations with her and wish we could have had more. She's so friendly and has given us excellent suggestions about good snorkeling spots, restaurants, etc. And speaking of snorkeling, we've snorkeled every day, in front of TNI, at Eden Rock, Smith's Cove, Cemetery Beach, Rum Point and Stingray City with Capt. Dexter. We'll hit all those spots and more on our next trip!! We'll recommend the TNI to everyone we know -- for us, it couldn't have been more perfect. On behalf of all of us, we thank you for all the personal touches and for making our vacation so memorable. Even our 16 year old son (you know the 'I'm bored' stage) has shared in our true enjoyment of every day here. Suffice it to say, none of us want to leave. With God's grace, we will be back." S.A.,R.A.&R.A., Richmond, Virginia, USA (July 9, 2004)
"We have had a wonderful time staying here at Turtle Nest Inn. We usually spend our Caribbean vacations at a Sandals resort but this time chose to stay in a more 'homey' like setting and it was well worth it. Barbara has been a gracious host and our home for the week has been clean and spacey. I loved getting to meet and spend time with Blackie as well. Grand Cayman is a beautiful island with some of the most gorgeous beaches I have ever seen. We look forward to returning one day! Thanks!" D.C.&A.C., Long Island, New York, USA (July 8, 2004)

The Blowholes at Breakers (Jeff and Gerry Franklin)
"Only after staying at TNI do my new bride and I realize the overwhelming advantages and value we received. I was initially sceptical due to the TNI’s relative inexpense compare to the larger resorts. My fear was that we would ‘get what we pay for’ and regret the decision to reside in Bodden Town. As I pack for our return from our TNI honeymoon in #8, I am truly thankful for one of the best week of my life. A few of the highlights include: -Bodden Town hospitality! During a visit to Rum Point, a native asked where a few of us were staying. Having informed her that we were at TNI, she lit up & raved about the nice ‘French’ owners. She promptly invited us to a weekend backyard jerk chicken BBQ attended by the Bodden Town neighborhood. This would not have happened if we stayed elsewhere for our honeymoon. -See the entire island. As we visited SMB and spoke to those staying there, many had not ventured beyond their crowded confines. As we told them of all the wonderful places we had been in Bodden Town & further east, their experiences seemed empty compared to ours. To each their own, but TNI is for us! -Uncrowded! With a wonderful pool & some of the best snorkeling almost entirely to ourselves, TNI is a true ‘get-away’! However, we were still able to easily visit SMB & its attractions. But like New York, ‘it’s a great place to visit, but I wouldn’t want to live there’. The oceanfront apartment, two balconies, kitchen, den, breakfastroom table, & clean facilities (and I mean CLEAN) make TNI an unmatched value in a more desirable location. Did I mention multiple closets? -If diving, the East End is some of the most spectacular in the world! TNI is in closer proximity to the East End & Ocean Frontiers, an incredible outfit with divemasters that made beginners like us feel as comfy as fish in water. We were also able to drive to Rum Point in short time. -The breeze! Depending on your location on the island, you get more or less wind. SMB & areas north had relatively zero breeze which made the heat unbearable. TNI never left us uncomfortable, even in the most sweltering heat. The breeze made our sunbathing a joy instead of a chore. -Value. We got our room & a Jeep Wrangler for a week at less expense than a simple hotel room in a resort. We loved the vehicle, driving on the ‘wrong side’ & venturing to all corners of the island. I could continue, but will stop at this point. Suffice it to say that this has been my greatest vacation ever & I am sad to leave behind the brilliance of Turtle Nest Inn. Our honeymoon was spectacular. My only regret is that a treasure like TNI will not remain a secret & we will have to share our Cayman Jewel with others seeking the perfection we obtained. All the best…" J.M.&E.M., Greensboro, North Carolina, USA (July 6 2004)
"We have loved our stay here at Turtle Nest Inn. It is so beautiful and peaceful. The view from our room (apt. 6) is incredible. We could hardly believe our eyes when we woke up each morning. We can’t imagine a more beautiful place to enjoy our honeymoon. Thank you so much for making this such a memorable place and experience. Thanks!" R.F.&B.F., College Place, Washington, USA (July 5, 2004)
"Thank you for being a part of the most wonderful honeymoon we could have ever dreamed of. Everything about the inn was beautiful from the moment we arrived. Barbara and the rest of the staff were a pleasure to be around and made us always feel at home This was our first trip to Grand Cayman and the TNI but definitely will not be our last. We look forward to meeting you, Marleine and Alain, when we return. We enjoyed meeting all the other guests at the Inn and we will miss Blackie and Vitamine! Thank you again." C.M.&S.M., State College, Pennsylvania, USA (July 3, 2004)

"Thank you so much for a wonderful time on Grand Cayman! The Inn was fabulous -- so tranquil and beautiful. Thanks for the use of the snorkel gear and the coolers -- all your little touches helped us to have the perfect honeymoon. We're sorry to leave, but we hope to return again in the near future! Thanks again for everything." K.M.&A.M., Evanston, Illinois, USA (July 3, 2004)
"What a fantastic time we had at Turtle Nest Inn. Your website does not do this place justice. Its beautiful, tranquil and the ambiance...there is no substitute for the TNI. We had an excellent time and will return soon. Barbara you are an excellent host and I'm sure an excellent teacher. Thanks!" D.T.&B.F., Atlanta, Georgia, USA (July 2, 2004)
"Turtle Nest Inn was all we hoped it would be. It was quiet, tranquil, out of the mainstream and oh so clean. Thanks ladies for keeping our place so neat and clean. Barbara was a wonderful host The snorkeling was fantastic. We went all over the island to snorkel and still came back to TNI for some more. We have excellent pictures to share with friends and family. We had a wonderful time in Grand Cayman We can't wait to return again. Thanks!"
