Farewell notes from our Guest Register (August/2001)
"Dear Alain & Marleine: Thank you so much for a wonderful, relaxing 3 days! You are terrific hosts! Our apartment was even more than we had hoped & we'll definitely be back. Friday's cook-your-own barbecue was a real treat - sharing the time with you & some of your friends was an experience we wouldn't have missed for anything. As I sit here writing this, listening to the surf & drinking in the view for nearly the last time, it makes me sad to leave. But it's wonderful to know we have some fine memories to take home with us & a wonderful place & fine people to come back to. Even Blackie & the cats made us feel right at home. Please give them special pats from us. And hearty thanks from both of us to both of you. All the best!" K.N.&R.N., Coatsville, Pennsylvania, USA (August 27, 2001)

In the Caribbean Honeymoon Guide 2001, published by Bridal Guide magazine, the Cayman
Islands are covered with Turtle Nest Inn featured as the "Most Romantic Hideaway".
"Alain & Marleine: What a sad day! I cannot believe we are actually leaving today. I remember back in February searching the internet for a nice, affordable place my boyfriend and I could visit and how excited we were to find your place. We definitely had high hopes and you surpassed every single one of them. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay. We couldn't have hoped for a more perfect place. The sea, village, condo, food, kindness of the neighbors and generosity of you both made this an excellent trip. Thanks for the memories and call us when you visit Atlanta for a shopping spree!" H.G.&C.W., Atlanta, Georgia, USA (August 25, 2001)
"Your website leaves one with high hopes and even higher expectations. In this case, reality surpasses the virtual image. We truly felt like the only visitors this week. Though we didn't bump into anyone, the inn has a welcoming, lived in ambience. Our apartment was so comfortable that we left it reluctantly at times. The amenities were impeccable, down to every detail. Though the threatened 'hurricane' avoided us, the water was apparently stirred up. Nonetheless, we were able to find several secluded spots to enjoy the beach. Alain and Marleine, we thank you for your hospitality and wish we were spending more time with you. We will recommend Turtle Nest Inn to all our friends. It offers the perfect blend of resort and B&B, including style, charm, grace, comfort, quiet and class." L.V.&L.L., Little Neck, New York, USA (August 24, 2001)

"Dear Marleine: Thank you so much for our stay at your wonderful Inn! We are sorry for our abrupt departure. Unfortunately, we must have been experiencing separation anxiety from the island and were not in very good moods. When you spend a week in such a wonderful place it is extremely hard togo back to reality. We could not have asked for a better place to stay or a better host. We loved the Turtle Nest Inn and will recommend it over and over to our friends. You are so lucky to live in paradise and hopefully we will also find a way to do that. Thank you again." B.W.&S.S, Grand Junction, Colorado, USA (August 14, 2001)

"Alain & Marleine: This has been the best vacation ever! Thank you both for all of your hospitality and making Shannon & I feel so welcome. The Inn has been the ideal accommodation and the best place to relax and call 'home' for our stay. I will definitely miss Grand Cayman, but I plan to return as soon as possible. Thanks for everything." S.G., Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA (August 12, 2001)
"Alain & Marleine: From the moment I saw your web page, I knew this was going to be a fantastic vacation. Thank you for all your hospitality and for arranging the perfect moonrise. Our apartment was perfect! We always felt safe and welcome. Even the church across the street invited us back. I hope to return soon. Grand Cayman is a little slice of heaven, a place I am sure to miss. I expect a rematch of scrabble when I visit again. Thanks again for sharing Grand Cayman and your home with us." S.H., Des Moines, Iowa, USA (August 12, 2001)

"Dear Alain and Marleine: We just wanted to let you know how much we enjoyed our visit to the Turtle Nest Inn. You have a beautiful place and George was just great. He saw to it that we were never in need of anything. We have traveled a lot and this was one of the best, if not the best, places we have ever stayed. We were sorry to have missed you and perhaps next year we can arrange a different time to come down. We had two more trips after leaving Grand Cayman and now we are ready to settle back down to the routine of working and school. We hope you had a great trip to Greece and we look forward to visiting the Turtle Nest Inn again. Thank you, best regards..." J.W.&J.W., Ashville, North Carolina, USA (August 6, 2001)

"What a fabulous inn! Excellent service, beautiful rooms and a spectacular view. The Indian dinner was some of the best cuisine I have ever sampled. Marvelous hosts. I can't imagine staying anywhere else on Grand Cayman." C.W.&G.S., Seattle, Washington, USA (August 2, 2001)
"Merci pour l'accueil chaleureux et pour votre gentillesse. Notre séjour a été idéal. C'était exactement ce que nous recherchions: calme, plage, plongée et repos en amoureux. En espérant vous revoir aux Cayman ou bien au nouveau Turtle Nest Inn que l'on va ouvrir prochainement sur la barrière de corail australienne." M.L.&S.L., New York, New York, EU (le 2 août, 2001)

(Translated from French, above) "Thanks for the warm welcome and for your kindness. This was exactly what we were looking for: peacefulness, beach, diving and romantic relaxation. Hoping to see you again in the Caymans, or at the new Turtle Nest Inn that we'll soon be opening on the Australian barrier reef." M.L.&S.L., New York, New York, USA (August 2, 2001)
"Our trip here was so wonderful. I don't think we ever stayed in an Inn that was more perfect. The setting provides a calmness of spirits in its isolation, personal accommodation and closeness to the sea. George was the perfect host. He had a way of connecting people and guiding each to their own island fantasies. What a wonderful resource. The other resources like Dexter and Ocean Frontiers were greatly appreciated. Your communication by e-mail and your well developed web site made planning stress-free. Blackie and Vitamine were such a treat, they added to the homey atmosphere. We all loved it." C.H.&L.N., Clovis, California, USA (August 1, 2001)
