"Thanks for a wonderful time!" L.O.,D.O.,J.O.&L.O., Bothell, Washington, USA (August 31, 2004)
"Thank you for making our honeymoon such a wonderful experience. Andrew and I could not have asked for a more romantic and secluded spot in the beautiful Cayman Islands. We are sad that we have to leave. You have been most gracious hosts for us and have made all the difference on this memorable trip. Secluded yes, but yet Turtle Nest Inn is somehow near to everything else on the island. The guest information helped guide our time here -- when we were not lazying about on the beach. Now, hopefully one day, we will call Cayman home (at least for part of the year)." A.F.&A.N., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada (August 29, 2004)

"Thank you for a great week. It was a perfect vacation for all of us and we hope to return next year. If you get a chance, stop by to visit us in Princeton Junction. Your hospitality is much appreciated. Thanks again for sharing your home. Nicholas also says goodbye to Blackie (his new friend)." "Had a great relaxing time in Cayman, helped by the location of the TNI and the friendliness of our hosts. We hope to return soon, and will only have one place we will look to be staying -- here!! Thanks and take care." K.J.,S.J.&H.J., Hampshire, England, UK (August 28, 2004)

"Marleine & Alain: TNI is the best! Had a wonderful time. Swimming, snorkeling, beach walks, drinking lots of wine. There is not one thing that should be changed. Just can't make the best better! Did I mention TNI is the best? We are already talking about our next trip...going to have to stay in #4!! The best! The (terrace) dinner was excellent! What a wonderful way to bring all your guests together. Thanks so much for making this a wonderful trip for us." T.H.&T.H., Duthan, Alabama, USA (August 28, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: Thank you for providing a wonderful home away from home for our stay in the Caymans. The name 'Turtle Nest Inn' is so appropriate. Just as a sea turtle roams the sea, but comes back to one special place on the beach to nest, we will travel elsewhere but whenever we return to Grand Cayman, we'll look for our special place on the beach -- Turtle Nest Inn. My daughter & I had a wonderful, relaxing time. Many thanks!" K.P.&M.P., University Place, Washington, USA (August 26, 2004)
"Dearest Marleine & Alain: Thank you for hosting us at Turtle Nest Inn. We had a wonderful time. Each day was filled with adventure and relaxation. Thanks for answering the endless questions and giving us advice on things to try and things to avoid. The best compliment we can give you as parents of TRIPLETS is we had a great time and relaxed for the first time in 2 whole years. After running after 3 boys, sitting on the beach was just what we needed. All the reviews, your website, and our expectations were met and exceeded. Alain, your stories made the trip and dinner even more memorable. Marleine, your sweetness will be remembered. Thanks again, and we'll be back soon, God willing. Lots of luck & best wishes. P.S. Marleine, next time we'll bring the boys as long as you promise to babysit!" S.K.&F.K., Glen Ellyn, Illinois, USA (August 25, 2004)

"This was our first trip to the island. We had a wonderful time away from the hustle & bustle. We loved Turtle Nest Inn. Everything we could possibly need was here. Thanks for a great visit!" A.F.&B.F., Fort Lauderdale, Florida, USA (August 24, 2004)
"This was a special trip for us as we were engaged on our first night! We needed a special place and wow did Turtle Nest Inn deliver! From a welcoming glass of wine & a jumpstart of our car (oops!) to every recommendation, TNI was perfect. Thank you so much for making this a trip we'll never forget! We'll be back soon!" B.K.&L.U., Dallas, Texas, USA (August 22, 2004)
"Absolutely beautiful!!!! Everything was more than we expected...perfect. Wonderful room w/a spectacular view. Felt as if we were the only ones here...a piece of paradise. Thank you Alain & Marleine for accommodating us & thinking of everything. A perfect 20th wedding anniversary getaway. Wish we could've stayed another week! Hard to say goodbye...hope to come back one day." T.H.&D.H., Sewickley, Pennsylvania, USA (August 21, 2004)
| Hurricane Charley came through our area on Thursday morning, the 12th, slipping between Grand Cayman and the sister islands without doing any damage at all. The Inn was completely booked and for our guests, who were prepared for the worst, it turned out to be a "non-event", bringing only a bit of rain and some strong wind. Today, August 13th, it's sunny, warm, and beautiful, without the least reminder of Charley! |
"Departing on a honeymoon vacation is a tall order to fulfill, and expectations are high. You guys managed to not only meet our expectations but exceed them in spectacular fashion. Thank you so much for the great time, the spotless room and the most adorable pets. We hope to be back as soon as possible!" J.Z.&Y.Z., Somerville, Massachusetts, USA (August 20, 2004)
"Thank you for a wonderful stay. We felt very much at home, and our apartment was spectacular. We have stayed at only one other place on Grand Cayman, but TNI was in a class of its own. We will miss Blackie & the rest..." J.P.&L.P., San Francisco, California, USA (August 18, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: What a breathtaking respite! Thank you for your wonderful hospitality -- too short! We hope to return. Best of luck in everything." T.M.&J.M., New York, New York, USA (August 17, 2004)

"WOW! The inn is spectacular and your graciousness was most appreciated. Our apartment was wonderful, romantic and relaxing. We even enjoyed 'Hurrican Charley'! The terrace dinner was superb, and we enjoyed meeting other guests -- and watching Alain enjoy Himself too! We will recommend Turtle Nest Inn and Grand Cayman to all. Thank you so much!" K.N.&M.N., Seattle, Washington, USA (August 16, 2004)
"Again, thank you for an absolutely wonderful vacation. In addition to all the great memories we have of snorkeling around the hotel, lying out in the sun on the beach and at the pool, we also loved all the little touches you provide like the French bread, Cuban coffee and the internet connection. Thanks also for arranging the flowers and champagne for my wife's birthday. We could not have designed a more perfect vacation!" J.M.&K.K., Denton, Texas, USA (August 16, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: Your beautiful spot here on the island made it very easy for us to have a most relaxing & enjoyable honeymoon. The ocean & accommodations are wonderful & we will recommend Turtle Nest Inn to our friends. Also, thank you for the effort put into the weekly dinner. The food was great & we were glad to have an opportunity to speak with you in a nice social atmosphere. We loved Vitamine, Beatrice, Blackie, and of course Cheetah. See you again!" "This was our first family trip outside the USA. We believe that we made a great choice! The Cayman islands were all that we hoped for. During our 1-week stay, we found plenty of time to relax and to explore Grand Cayman and some of the waters off the island. We really like Cemetary Reef with its easy access and lots of activity on the reef. We really enjoyed the accommodations and hospitality of the Inn. Everyone here made us welcome. We leave with fond memories." B.H.,E.H.,B.H.&M.H., Gainesville, Florida, USA (August 15, 2004)
"We picked the absolutely perfect place to stay! The view from our room was something that has to be seen to be believed. We had all that we needed right here at Turtle Nest Inn. It's extremely hard to leave, but our fond memories will always be with us." D.M.,D.M.,B.M.&Z.M., Pemberton, New Jersey, USA (August 14, 2004)

"Marleine & Alain: Thank you for your wonderful hospitality during our first family visit to the Caymans. The facility is first-class, the other guests very friendly and the weather was incredible. We enjoyed all of the great things that the island has to offer including the Turtle farm, Seven Mile Beach, the Botanic Park and the blow holes. We particularly enjoyed feasting on fine Indian fare and great conversation at Thursday's dinner on the terrace. Now, with Charley barreling through the Caymans, we're packing for home thinking of family and friends! I know that if we ever return to Grand Cayman or one asked for a recommendation, where to stay will be an easy question to answer. Thanks again!" S.N.,D.N.,N.N.&C.N., Highland Park, New Jersey, USA (August 12, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: The Inn is beautiful. The best place to stay. I made so many friends (including Vitamine, Blackie & Beatrice). Hopefully I'll be back! Wonderful beaches and great snorkeling experience. One of our best trips and my first time on a plane. Thanks, love you Vitamine!" J.N., Highland Park, New Jersey, USA (August 12, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: Our first visit to Cayman & Turtle Nest Inn was wonderful, & hopefully will not be our last. We all had a relaxing time filled with fun & new discoveries. We all tried scuba diving & 'fell in love'. The warmth and hospitality of you and the staff will not be forgotten. The reefs, the restaurants, the stingrays, the resident pets, all contributed to this amazing vacation. The terrace dinner was a very special and delicious evening. It is so hard to leave, but we are already looking forward to our next visit. Thank you for making this vacation one we will never forget! 'It's not the number of breaths we take, but the moments that take our breath away.'" T.R.,A.R.,E.R.,P.R.&L.R., Honeoye Falls, New York, USA (August 11, 2004)

"Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation! TNI is so clean & everyone went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The personal touch you get here is unlike any place we've ever stayed at before. We normally stay at 'resorts' but after reading all the good info on TripAdvisor.com, decided to try a smaller place. We couldn't have made a better choice! I still can't get over how CLEAN & friendly your entire staff has been. We normally keep traveling & don't return to the same spot, but I'm sure we'll be back. The island is amazing & the snorkeling is out of this world!! We're very sad to be leaving & can't thank you enough for such a memorable vacation!" A.S.&R.S., Vincent, Ohio, USA (August 9, 2004)
"Marleine & Alain: Thank you so much for all your hospitality. You have made Turtle Nest Inn a warm & welcoming place to be. The atmosphere is one of extended family rather than an impersonal resort. We loved getting to know you and your island. The snorkeling was great, as were the beaches and the beautiful sights. We loved driving around the island as well as touring the botanical gardens. We had one of our best vacations ever and will definitely tell all of our friends there is no better place to stay on Grand Cayman than Turtle Nest Inn! Merci beaucoup!" M.Z.,A.L.&A.L., Highland Park, New Jersey, USA (August 8, 2004)

"It has been a wonderful holiday, even better than we could have imagined. We will miss waking up to the sound and sights of the ocean. But we have many memories to take home with us to the UK. Thank you to all for your splendid hospitality & service. Until we return, thank you again." K.J.&S.J., Bristol, England, UK (August 7, 2004)
"It's very hard to put into words how wonderful a time we've had here at TNI. Being somewhat a homebody, and my wife a world traveler, it was difficult to match her enthusiasm about our upcoming adventure. Even with all the e-mails she sent referencing all the great reviews from TripAdvisor.com, I was still somewhat skeptical. No longer though. From walking through the gateway to TNI and the first glimpse to the beautiful water and the gorgeous surroundings, I was hooked. There are so many things to love about this place, but the best by far is its location away from the hustle and bustle of George Town. And then there is the hospitality of Alain and Marleine, wonderful, warm and gracious hosts. Thank you for allowing us to share a little part of this incredible lifestyle. Blackie, Vitamine and Béatrice (the Inn pets) give the place a semblance of home, I loved that they were around. I think Blackie may be a little weary of me as I had to rub on him every time I passed by. Cheetah too is an absolute sweety. I admit I gave her a tiny morsel when I grilled out one night -- she was still there the next morning! We also had a wonderful time socializing with the other guests, absolutely everyone was friendly and warm and interesting. (I guess maybe this wasn't so hard to put into words, they're coming easily!) Stingray City was the highlight of this trip, what incredible creatures. All the restaurants recommended by TNI were excellent, the best being Palm Beach. Without question the warmest, friendliest, most attentive staff we've ever had the pleasure to experience. If you go, ask for Alexander and tell him Mr. Phil sent you! Ahhh. we hate to leave, it is hard, but we're already planning a trip back, and hopefully bringing some friends along too. Thank you for everything TNI, we won't forget your 'Je me souviens'!" P.G.,C.G.&A.G., Apex,North Carolina, USA (August 5, 2004)
"Firstly, our sincerest thanks for everything -- your attention, your recommendations, your staff & your enthusiasm & genuine approach. The island is absolutely picturesque, however Turtle Nest Inn made the experience. Terrace dinners were the highlight of our two weeks, and went above & beyond any expectations we had based on reviews & quotes from former guests. The atmosphere here was fantastic -- the perfect mixture/blend between a social & friendly setting and solitude & relaxation. If you can't find your kitten Vitamine, she's with us in Seattle. Thanks so much!" S.B.&D.H., Seattle, Washington, USA (August 3, 2004)

"Absolutely the most beautiful, exquisite place on earth. You have no idea how truly at home we felt while staying here at TNI. What incredible hosts you both are & Lance can't quit talking about how wonderful Thursday's Indian night was. To say this is a quaint & lovely inn does not do it justice. McKenzi & Gunner want us to start planning next year's trip! McKenzi made a wonderful friendship with Johannah. Thanks so much for your hospitality! L.G.&L.G., Long Beach, Mississippi, USA (August 1, 2004)
"This is the coolest place in the whole, wide world, so thanks. I've had the greatest time here. The beachfront, the pool and everything here was amazing. Thanks for the time of my life." G.G., Long Beach, Mississippi, USA (August 1, 2004)
"Thank you for the nice room, the bed & the pool. Thank you for letting me play with Vitamine & Blackie & the other cat too! I wish I could live here, but I can't, my mom & dad won't let me. Love..." M.G., Long Beach, Mississippi, USA (August 1, 2004)
