Farewell notes from our Guest Register (September/2001)
"Once again we were treated to a wonderful stay at Turtle Nest. It was great to finally meet Alain & Marleine, who treated us as old friends. We look forward to returning in the future, next year and our next visit cannot come soon enough!" M.R.&L.R., Mansfield, Ohio, USA (September 26, 2001)
"Dear Alain and Marleine: Thank you for the note- I'm missing the island already and the Turtle Nest inn. I have to say how much I enjoyed meeting both of you- you're gracious hosts and lovely people. My friends were all jealous that I got to spend the week at your lovely place. As I told you before, what I truly enjoyed was your attention to detail. It was as if you took all of the good things you had found in your travels and put them at your Inn, and added the touches that you thought were missing. I'm so glad we were able to participate in Indian night- it was delicious and we all had a great time. I hope to make it back to the island soon and will definitely stay at the Turtle Nest Inn (I'm still trying to find some friends to get married so we can book the entire place). Thank you so much for such a wonderful time. I look forward to seeing you in the future. (I just got off off the phone with a client and told him he needs to go and spend time at your place. I'm showing him the pictures tomorrow)." L.S., Las Vegas, Nevada, USA (September 21, 2001)

"Dear Alain and Marleine: We had such a wonderful time staying here, it was so peaceful and relaxing. We really enjoyed the dinners and late night swims. We couldn't have hoped for anything better. Thanks for making our honeymoon so special. We hope to return very soon. Good luck to you both." E.W.&C.W., Chicago, Illinois, USA (September 20, 2001)
"Fabulous! Wonderful! Superlatives fail me. Thank you for a wonderful vacation and many congratulations on succeeding to create charm and elegance away from corporate Cayman. The Indian meal was magic, the location everything we could have hoped for, the hospitality outstanding. We will be back. Very, very best wishes to you all." A.W.&B.W., Munich, Germany (September 18, 2001)
"We came for a 'special' holiday to celebrate our 30th Wedding Anniversary and it certainly was special. The apartment was excellent as well as your hospitality. The Indian meal was truly delicious. Thanks for a wonderful holiday. We will be back." B.G.&V.G., Wirral, England, UK (September 18, 2001)

"Alain & Marleine: Your website makes the Turtle Nest look very nice, but that is a definite understatement. This inn is super. Your hospitality is like never seen before. You made our honeymoon very enjoyable and memorable. Thank you both and we hope to be back soon!" B.S.&S.S., Little Egg Harbor, New Jersey, USA (September 16, 2001)
"We returned again & of course will be back again as soon as possible! Parents hope to come back again this year. Best vacation place in the Caribbean. This is the only island & Inn we have returned to! Being 'stuck' an extra day during the 'attack on America' was an extra day in paradise. Can't imagine a better place to be 'stranded'! You were great in our time of need. Wish we could stay & help catch the rooster for you - will be watching the mail for him! Staying in #8 again - it is really starting to feel like 'our' apartment. Loved taking the kayak to the Edge for afternoon mudslides. Wouldn't mind being 'stranded' a few more days but we must get back to all our animals. Oh yes, made a very small donation to the Humane Society. Wish we could do more. Will be flying our new Cayman flag over our pool tomorrow when we get home. Look for our Christmas animals card in December & we will be back!" A.R.&L.R., Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (September 16, 2001)

"One of the staff in George Town called 7 mile beach the 'corporate chaos'. TNI was a welcome place of solitude to relax & enjoy this beautiful scenery. I could not get over the fabulous views from our condo. From the first moment of wakefulness to the last breath of fresh air, the gorgeous views simply could not be beat. Why anyone would choose 'corporate chaos' over these views & such hospitable peace is beyond me! This place will always hold a fond place in our heart & we will be back!" D.D., Richmond, Virginia, USA (September 10, 2001)
"This was a week of many fabulous memories and moments. We chose to come to Cayman because of Turtle Nest Inn to celebrate our honeymoon. It was all we dreamed of and more for this incredibly special time. Thank you for creating a space away from the 'corporate chaos' for us to relax, unwind, and savor our week. The staff as well as Marleine and Alain went beyond all expectations in keeping us feeling welcome and embraced here on this special island. We are already planning our next return. Thank you so much." T.D., Richmond, Virginia, USA (September 10, 2001)

In the Caribbean Honeymoon Guide 2001, published by Bridal Guide magazine, the Cayman
Islands are covered with Turtle Nest Inn featured as the "Most Romantic Hideaway".
"This was the best place we have ever stayed in all of our travels to the Caribbean. It gave the two of us the chance to renew our love & relationship with one another. The views were wonderful. The people the most friendly, the food fantastic and the snorkeling was perfect. But you got to do something about that rooster next door. He wakes up way too early. To the both of you thanks so much for a wonderful stay!" J.I.&L.I., Angier, North Carolina, USA (September 2, 2001)
"What a wonderful treasure is the Turtle Nest Inn - you, the blue sea, the food, the apartment, the charm! We're sorry our stay was so short - we will come again!! (We loved the kitties & Blackie too!)" J.D.&N.H., Cincinnati, Ohio, USA (September 2, 2001)
