Farewell notes from our Guest Register (October/2000)
"Things we expected on our first trip to the Cayman Islands: warm weather, exotic island food, pictures of sunsets and many snorkeling adventures. What we didn't expect: such an intimate hotel with wonderful hosts, a private reef to snorkel around, multiple dog escorts to The Edge (Buster, Philly, Max), beautiful botanical gardens, a great Indian meal by the sea, new friends (Dan & Dana) as well as new stingray friends! Thanks for the memories, Alain & Marleine - we look forward to making more next year!" E.K.&S.K., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA (October 29, 2000)
"Marleine & Alain: The most enjoyable week I've ever had. Your inn is wonderful." S.T., Baltimore, Maryland, USA (October 26, 2000)
"It's hard to believe that a week can pass so quickly. Your website captures part of the beauty of TNI, but one must actually come here to experience the tranquility. This place is perfect. I can't think of one thing I'd change!! We'll be back!" J.V.&P.K., Madison, Wisconsin, USA (October 26, 2000)
"We followed our intuition to this lovely Inn which turned out to be exactly what we were looking for. Right on the most beautiful beach, with a large suite for 2, and all the amenities we needed. Plus two very kind and thoughtful people - Alain and Marleine, to make our stay the absolute best. I'll be back. This was too perfect to experience only once." H.G.&R.A., Kensington, Maryland, USA (October 26, 2000)
"When I woke up Monday morning I didn't know where I was headed, but my husband had found an oasis on the web for our 14th Anniversary. I loved the Inn from the moment we arrived! Your kind hospitality greeted us and made us feel welcome throughout our stay! This Inn is a perfect design and location, with a picturesque view of the Caribbean I don't want to forget! The island holds so many wonderful memories...we will be back! Thanks for everything!!" M.W.&C.W., Suwanee, Georgia, USA (October 26, 2000)
"Our first trip to the Caymans was wonderful. We hope to return one day...with our children." V.H.&L.H., Pawling, New York, USA (October 25, 2000)
"Alain & Marleine: You have a very nice place. Thank you for the hospitality. I had a wonderful time. Can't wait to come back!" S.T., Gaithersburg, Maryland, USA (October 24, 2000)

"Alain & Marleine (and Linda & Frank): A million thank-you's for a week of tranquility, sunsets, stingrays, diving at 120 feet, excitement, parrotfish, conch fritters, seagulls, the scent of the sea in the morning, friendly dogs and hundreds of other unforgettable moments. As soon as we arrived at your glorious inn, we knew we made the right decision. The non-commercial, 'touch of home' ambiance was delightful and very much appreciated. And it was no more apparent than the night we ventured into George Town and saw (with dismay) the Burger King, Kentucky Fried Chicken and other abominations -- we ran screaming back to the Turtle Nest! With warm regards..." K.L.&M.L., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA (October 24, 2000)
"Best vacation ever! I will never forget the sunrises & sunsets, the beaches, the Botanic Park, and the surreal trip to the sandbar with Dexter to see the stingrays. Thank You! P.S: Special thanks to Linda for her excellent suggestions, and to Tramp for making me feel at home." A.S., Chicago, Illinois, USA (October 23, 2000)
"I found the Turtle Nest Inn on the Internet and had high hopes for it for our honeymoon. My husband and I loved it! We knew we wanted to be a little away from 7 Mile Beach & the Inn provided a different view of the island. There is so much to do all over the island & this was a great middle point. We loved Bob Soto's tour of Stingray City & Ocean Frontiers did a wonderful job showing us our first scuba diving experience. Go see the blowholes - they were amazing at sunset! Thanks to Frank & Linda for getting us settled in. We had a wonderful honeymoon! Thank you." R.G.&C.G., Rochester, New York, USA (October 21, 2000)
"My 1st trip to Grand Cayman & I was lucky enough to find the Turtle Nest Inn first thing when I looked on the Internet. Once I read the previous comments I knew it was the place for me - small, simple & run with a personal touch. Your 'backyard' is awesome - sunrise view is stunning. Thanks Frank & Linda for being so sweet. Glad to meet Marleine & Alain on my last day but sorry I missed your dinners! Take care...P.S: East End diving was spectacular & Ocean Frontiers is a friendly, professional operation!" V.B., Dallas, Texas, USA (October 20, 2000)
"Thanks for putting up with us...and especially for loaning us Tramp, who escorted us to breakfast at The Edge every day and graced Apt. 6 most mornings. The diving is great here on GC, and your hospitality is first rate. We'll be back." L.P.&C.C., Baltimore, Maryland, USA & K.B., Alexandria, Virginia, USA (October 19, 2000)
"Thanks for a lovely although short stay. Linda took good care of us." B.W.&E.W., Morrisville, North Carolina, USA (October 19, 2000)
"The Inn was splendid, we had a wonderful time. Having explored most of the island, we very much enjoyed coming 'home'. Thanks for a wonderful 'paradise view'. Linda, thanks for the tip about Governor's Beach -- it was wonderful! We long to return..." B.F.&I.F., Upper Malboro, Maryland, USA (October 16, 2000)
"Thank you for a great week on Grand Cayman. The Turtle Nest Inn proved to be everything we had hoped from the extensive accolades we had read on the web! We're sorry we missed Alain and Marleine. However I suspect island life is addictive...especially during a rainy Vancouver winter!" A.C.&K.C., Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada (October 15, 2000)
"Our 1st trip to the Caymans couldn't have been more wonderful! We loved the Turtle Nest - enjoyed our chats with Linda & Frank - they were great 'Substitute Hosts'! We're disappointed we didn't get to meet Marleine & Alain. It seems everyone on the island knows them. We plan to be back soon! This was a celebration of our 20th Anniversary, hopefully it won't take another 20 years to get away alone. Thanks for a lovely home away from home! We will highly recommend the Turtle Nest!" C.C.&P.C., Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania, USA (October 15, 2000)

"This was our 2nd trip to Cayman but the 1st to TNI - and it was wonderful, quiet & cozy - you have thought of everything. Linda & Frank are most helpful. So sorry we did not get to meet Marleine & Alain - good excuse to return! But then who needs a reason to come back to Cayman. The swimming & snorkeling at Governor's Beach were fantastic! The "condo" life here sure beats overcrowded hotels. Hope you enjoyed your time away from paradise. Keep up the good work & we will see you again." H.M.&M.C., Cape Cod, Massachusetts, USA (October 13, 2000)
"What a beautiful island. The Inn is a wonderful retreat from all the business of 7 mile beach. We love it here. So sorry we couldn't meet you both! Can't wait to come back soon! We will tell all about your fabulous spot and how great the snorkeling is right in your back (or front) yard! Hope you had a great vacation as we did!" R.H.&A.H., Fulton, New York, USA (October 12, 2000)
"Thank you for a beautiful, private place to stay during our 1st trip to Grand Cayman - we felt right at home here at TNI. We hope to return, and when we do, we'll definitely come back here! With warm regards..." J.K.&A.P., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA (October 9, 2000)
"We had a great time on our first trip to the island. Everyone was so friendly. We loved staying at the inn and hope to come back again soon." E.F.&R.F., Vestal, New York, USA (October 9, 2000)
"Our stay was wonderful at the TNI. Frank & Linda kept us very comfy & Tramp gave us company. The TNI is a great place to relax & absorb the rays of sunshine." M.W.&P.R., Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA (October 8, 2000)
"We had a wonderful 1 week vacation in 'paradise'! We were delighted with the wonderful food we had everywhere we ate. Our last evening, we spent at Kaibo Yacht Club - fabulous meal!! Thanks Linda & Frank- especially wake up call at 5:30am! Much appreciated!" B.S.&A.S., Saratoga, California, USA (October 7, 2000)
"Our stay at Turtle Nest Inn has been delightful! It is certainly our kind of place - secluded and away from the 'maddening crowds', yet convenient via auto to any part of the island. We enjoyed exploring the countryside, then 'coming home' to our little inn by the sea. Thank you, Linda and Frank, for taking such good care of us. If and when we return to Grand Cayman, we will certainly stay here - and meet Marleine and Alain." C.W.&P.W., Kirbyville, Missouri, USA (October 6, 2000)
"Our week at Turtle Nest was great. We were here in CI in 1992 staying on the congested 7 mile beach. Scuba and snorkelling were fun. It is the clearest water in the Caribbean. Our apartment was very comfortable. Linda and Frank were friendly & helpful." G.M.&H.M., Tulsa, Oklahoma, USA (October 4, 2000)
"Thank you both for making our stay at Turtle Nest Inn wonderful! It was a great place to be on our honeymoon - quiet, secluded, & romantic. Our apartment (No. 8) was great with a beautiful view of the ocean. We plan to return on one of our many anniversaries to come. We only hope next time there is a little less rain! Thank again for everything." T.C.&M.C., Prior Lake, Minnesota, USA (October 4, 2000)
"Thank you Linda and Frank, for taking such good care of us on our honeymoon. Everything was perfect! We are really glad we decided to stay at Turtle Nest Inn, instead of 7 mile beach. Tourists go to 7 mile, travelers come to Bodden Town. Our only regret is we didn't get to meet Alain and Marleine. Next time! Warm regards...P.S: We really enjoyed Tramp, he and his buddies are a real hoot!" L.R.&M.R., Mansfield, Ohio, USA (October 1, 2000)
"Thank you for making our honeymoon so memorable. We loved the tranquility and privacy of our apartment and of the hotel. Many blessings upon you in the future." F.D.&A.D., Detroit, Michigan, USA (October 1, 2000)
