Farewell notes from our Guest Register (November/2001)
"We could not have found a more marvelous place to spend our honeymoon. We had a wonderful place in mind from stories & pictures off the Internet & when we arrived we were pleasantly surprised that it was even more wonderful than expected. What a find! The rooms are charming - housekeeping was great. The ocean was magnificiently gorgeous - we loved our stay! Thank you for the time of our lives - we will be back eventually to enjoy this heaven on earth again. Thank you so much! God Bless." D.G.&A.G., Vancouver, Washington, USA (November 28, 2001)
"To the Hosts of Turtle Nest Inn: How beautiful to have found this haven on Grand Cayman Island. Tranquil and soft, the Inn satisfied all our desires to escape from our busy life to a peaceful 'paradise'." G.W.&R.W., Dayton, Ohio, USA (November 28, 2001)

"Dearest Alain & Marleine: From my observation, you must enjoy the best 'return' rate on Grand Cayman. After eight years of spending Thanksgiving on the 7-Mile Strip, we have again thoroughly enjoyed our little Bodden Town Villa. Our first visit was right after you opened. We just love to refer our friends! Marleine, we missed your charm and gracious touch; but I can attest that Alain did a wonderful job of more than meeting our every need. Indian Night came off beautifully. All the best to you both for '02. Fondly...P.S. You can believe that I intend to see you all at least once this coming year. Thanks for all of your caring innkeeping." P.M., Annapolis, Maryland, USA (November 28, 2001)
"Sacré fils! Moments inoubliables aux îles Cayman mais surtout dans votre endroit de rêve, calme, reposant et très agréable...Des plongées sous-marines aux balades en mer, des raies aux tortues de mer, des palmiers aux fonds transparents, nous en garderons un souvenir incroyable...Seul petit regret ne pas avoir eu le privilège de rencontrer Marleine. Ce sera pour la prochaine fois..." C.P.&Y.P. (Français), Philadelphie, Pennsylvanie, EU (November 27, 2001)
(Translated from French, above): "Holy cow! Unforgettable moments in the Cayman Islands but especially at your dream spot...Scuba diving to boat outings, stingrays to sea turtles, palm trees to clear sea bottoms, these will always be unbelievable memories. Only one small regret -- not having had the privilege of meeting Marleine. Next time..." C.P.&Y.P. (French citizens), Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA (November 27, 2001)
"As always! I hate to leave the best Inn in the Cayman Islands, but it always gives us something to look forward to...Coming Back! See you next year!" J.M.,P.M.&J.M., Crownsville, Maryland, USA (November 26, 2001)

A beachfront apartment and the view from its balcony.
"We had a great time staying with you on our honeymoon. We could not ask for a more peaceful, relaxing & out-of-the-way place. As we drove around the more developed portions of the island we realized how different our honeymoon could have been if we had not come across your inn. Instead of being able to stroll alone on the beach we could have had to share it with a throng of tourists. Instead of being immersed in the local culture, we could have been sharing fries at Wendy's with dozens of other American sun worshippers. Instead of enjoying a quiet breakfast in our room, we could have been desperately trying to get out of a cramped hotel room. And instead of enjoying the charming hospitality of a host that was genuinely interested in helping his guests make the most of their stay, we could have just been one of hundreds of other 'room numbers'. Thanks for the excellent service, gracious hospitality & Indian dinner, and for showing us such an amazing time! If there is any way we can make it back to the Caymans, we will definitely try to stay with you again!" R.S.&C.S., Atlanta, Georgia, USA (November 23, 2001)
"What a wonderful Inn you have! Sorry we missed Marleine, but Alain's hospitality was wonderful. Indian Night was great food and company. Awesome snorkeling, right out the back door! You have created a masterpiece, here in paradise. Thank you for everything." J.D.&K.D., Eugene, Oregon, USA (November 23, 2001)
"We had a blast at your piece of paradise here on Grand Cayman. Lovely place and most lovely sea. I will miss the fish. My kids had so much fun playing on the beach, in the water and with all the dogs. Thanks for a fun week. Au revoir!" J.S.,A.S.,B.S.&A.S., Reston, Virginia, USA (November 23, 2001)

"Alain: An incredible respite to refresh the body and the soul. Every aspect was well thought out & supplied - from the efficiency & hardly visible staff, the water equipment provided, to the intense delectable dinner. Paradise could clearly be synonymous with Turtle Nest Inn!! Thank you and Happy Thanksgiving..." J.M.&T.D., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, USA (November 22, 2001)
"Alain & Marleine: What a wonderful business you have! We thank you very much for your hospitality and great times. This has been a great place to experience the local flavors of the island. Your 'Blue Book' (guest information booklet in each apartment-TNI) is well thought out and very helpful. Your strength, vision and entrepreneurial spirit have paid off and we are very glad we could stay and enjoy it with you. We will always remember the Turtle Nest and your great friendliness. Best regards..." J.D.&V.D., North Wales, Pennsylvania, USA (November 21, 2001)

Thanks for all your personal touches. We had a great visit & will certainly return." P.D.&A.D., Edmonton, Alberta, Canada (November 14, 2001)

"Well miss Grand Cayman back in Dallas, TX! The beaches are very beautiful here. The room was great. Next time well have to reserve in time for an oceanfront apartment. Blackie was a perfect greeter too! The Inn is gorgeous and very quaint and the beach pool was great. The snorkeling is nice off the beach and we had fun in the kayak. It was away from all the 7-mile traffic but close enough to drive to. Well definitely stay here when we come back to Grand Cayman!" L.K.&C.K., Dallas, Texas, USA (November 8, 2001)

"Weve had a wonderful time -- a perfect escape for a few days! Despite the rain, we got to do all that we had planned (well, almost). Even the storm brought some spectacular surf that was a wonder to see. Your Inn is everything you promised - lovely rooms, beautiful beach, great snorkeling, gracious service, excellent tapas meal, privacy I could go on and on. Thank you so much for following your vision to create such an enjoyable and beautiful place. We certainly hope to return some day." C.A.&J.A., Kemp, Texas, USA (November 6, 2001)
"Dear Marleine and Alain: Well 10 days of rain, rain, and more rain! and still we had a wonderful time! Thank you for your hospitality. Your Inn is everything we expected. The Caribbean tapas dinner was delicious. Well be back!" L.P.&D.P., Livermore, California, USA (November 4, 2001)

"Marleine and Alain: We only stayed one night but thoroughly enjoyed our stay - our apartment was very inviting after a tiring trip in from Virginia. To top our day off, we had a wonderful meal, excellently prepared and served and the company was excellent, as we shared a table with other guests. Thank you for making us feel so welcome and at home on our first night in Grand Cayman!" C.F.&D.F., Brooke, Virginia, USA (November 2, 2001)
