"We're sorry to be leaving your safe residence. What a lovely home you have and I will think often of it when we are shoveling snow this winter. You were gracious as hostess and host and really made us feel at home with you. This was truly a blessed Christmas that we spent here. Hoping to see you in the future. Love...P.S. The meal with you last night made the entire trip worthwhile." B.H.,J.H.,A.H.,K.H.&G.H., Medford, New Jewrsey, USA (December 29, 2001)
"Dear Alain and Marleine: Our stay with you was so peaceful and relaxing, we wish it could have lasted longer. Your quiet corner, the delicious special Indian dinner, and the other interesting guests all made this vacation different, one to remember. We hope to see you again some time in the not too far future. Our best regards and wishes for a Happy and Healthy Year." A.Y.,K.Y.&N.Y., New York, New York, USA (December 28, 2001)
"Thank you for everything! Our honeymoon was perfect. We adore the Inn. I'm so glad you have such a great website or we never would have found you. We will miss you all and of course Blackie too! We hope to return someday soon. Wishing you a wonderful new year..." B.P.&D.P., Austin, Texas, USA (December 27, 2001)

"Dear Marleine and Alain: Your excellent website found our way to you. Turtle Nest Inn is even better and your hospitality and courtesies have been outstanding. Having been married 50 years ago on one enchanting island, it was fitting we celebrated our anniversary on another. Thank you so much for giving us a memorable stay at your lovely Inn. With our love..." B.A.&M.A., St. Helena Island, South Carolina, USA (December 27, 2001)
"Thank you so much for a wonderful Caymanian stay! We really had a wonderful time. Dexter's sailing was fantastic -- could do it everyday. All the best to you, be true to yourself." J.I., St. Helena Island, South Carolina, USA (December 27, 2001)

"Dear Marleine: Thank you so much for everyhting. It was a great spot. The beach, pool and snorkeling were fantastic. The location was perfect; very quiet and 'Caymanian' and it wasn't far from the interesting places on the island." M.I., St. Helena Island, South Carolina, USA (December 27, 2001)
"Dear Marleine: I had a very nice time. It was a great dinner. Great hotel. The pool & the ocean are beautiful. I hope I see you again!" B.I., St. Helena Island, South Carolina, USA (December 27, 2001)
"Dear Marleine & Alain: What's to say, but that we had such a wonderful time at your Inn! The apartment was all that we needed & more. The snorkeling was fantastic! So many colorful fish & coral...and right 'in our own backyard'! We especially enjoyed visiting with you and your sister, Maryse. Thank you for such a great dining experience on Indian night. We enjoyed it (and the company of our 'neighbors') immensely. We hope to see you again...thanks for being an integral part of our memorable vacation! Fondly yours..." "Marleine, you have found your calling as hostess . . . available, caring and enthusiastic. You certainly helped us feel at home and comfortable. Alain, your website eliminated any unpleasant surprises which can potentially dash one's vision of a place unknown. The inn, the neighborhood, and the feeling on the island in general was just as you portrayed . . . although I think you understated the warmth and hospitality of Caymanians. And, if 'living on the Edge' means eating there often, I'm all for it! As my son said, 'This vacation managed to satisfy everyone in our family, which isn't easy.' (Our family being my husband and me, and our college sophomore and high school senior, all of whom have different 'goals' for time away from home.) Alhough we don't tend to visit the same place twice, Turtle Nest Inn and the Cayman Islands might prove to be an exception. Thanks again for a lovely place and a lovely time." T.H.,D.H.,C.H.&C.H., Davidson, North Carolina, USA (December 24, 2001)
"To our wonderful hosts: The Hunter family would like to say thank you! from the bottom of our hearts for the most amazing vacation. Your delightful inn combined with gracious hospitality provided for a wonderful setting, and the Cayman Islands are in themselves the most gorgeous tropical paradise we could imagine! Thank you so much for this magical vacation, and we wish you a very Merry Christmas! and a Happy New Year. Love..." C.H., Davidson, North Carolina, USA (December 24, 2001)
"We couldn't imagine a better spot for our honeymoon. We're so glad to have found this place away from the 'maddening crowd'. Marleine's dining suggestions were perfect. The Turtle Nest provides a sense of solitude but also a sense of community. The Friday night dinner was fantastic and fellowship was like dining with old friends. The Inn was beautiful and the hospitality (Blackie too) was unforgettable. We hope to return soon. Thanks for everything." D.P.&A.P., Flint, Michigan, USA (December 22, 2001)

"Had a wonderful time! Beautiful inn! We will come back some day!" B.D.,K.H.,&K.L., Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA (December 17, 2001)
"Just what we needed. Our trip was relaxing - and the accomodations were lovely. Quiet and friendly - we felt like we were the only guests. We prefer Bodden Town to the touristy 7-Mile Beach area, and were so glad to find a small intimate place to hide for a week. Well be back..." P.F.&C.F., Charlotte, North Carolina, USA (December 17, 2001)
"What a quiet, elegant spot you have. Blackie is the perfect host. If we return to Grand Cayman, we would definitely stay here. Your recommendations were dead on target. Wish we could remain beyond our scheduled two nights. Take good care." A.D.&J.R., Garrison, New York, USA (December 17, 2001)
"We loved being here. It was very quiet and peaceful. You have a wonderful place here. Thank you." C.R.&P.R., Milford, Connecticut, USA (December 16, 2001)
"Dear Marleine and Alain: We could not have hoped for a better stay. The inn was absolutely lovely. Such service which was so individual could not have been received anywhere else! We thank you both for making our stay so enjoyable. We look forward to returning." M.P.&S.P., Downingtown, Pennsylvania, USA (December 15, 2001)
"Thank you Marleine and Alain for a beautiful, quiet week away from a life that moves too fast - the perfect spot for us to slow down and enjoy reading, walking on the beach and eating good food." A.D.,T.R.&V.T., Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA (December 15, 2001)

In the Caribbean Honeymoon Guide 2001, published by Bridal Guide magazine, the Cayman
Islands are covered with Turtle Nest Inn featured as the "Most Romantic Hideaway".
"We are saddened to be leaving what is undoubtedly the finest vacation we've ever taken! The Turtle Nest Inn made it all happen - a more perfect spot cannot be found on the island. Our thanks to both Marleine and Alain for sharing your home with us. It was wonderful!!." N.H.&P.H., Jamestown, New York, USA (December 13, 2001)
"Zack and I thoroughly enjoyed our time in the islands. It has been a perfect honeymoon! Thank you for recommending Captain Dexter's Stingray City tour. It was the highlight of our trip! We have been so glad that we stayed away from the commercialization of 7-mile beach. The inn is beautiful and very comfortable. A word of advice for people coming to Turtle Nest Inn: rent a car! We loved the freedom we had driving all over the island in our rental car. You will need it to drive to the beautiful beaches, lovely places to eat, etc. Be sure to visit Rum Point - it's serene and breathtaking! Thank you so much...we will return on our anniversary." Z.L.&J.L., Hull, Georgia, USA (December 13, 2001)

"We have really enjoyed our stay at Turtle Nest Inn. We particularly appreciated the quiet away from 7-mile beach and the Tour Ship crowd. The friendly atmosphere here was great with both Alain and Marleine being very helpful. Snorkeling out front was the most enjoyable on the island. We were sorry the Indian meal did not happen as we so enjoyed the Caribbean Night. This was our first visit to Cayman Islands but finding it here a paradise I'm sure we will return many times. We had a few excellent trips to Rum Point and our favorite restaurant for both food and atmosphere under the palms on the deck was The Edge. Thanks for a wonderful new experience." S.S.&C.S., Lakewood, New York, USA (December 13, 2001)
"I can think of no better accommodations than the TNI! Every detail exceeded our expectations. Great snorkeling!! Tapas Night was the best meal on the island. We will return!" A.K.&M.K., Northampton, Massachusetts, USA (December 12, 2001)
"Second Trip! Better than the first, already booked for next year. Thanks Alain & Marleine. Don't forget the 'guarantee' for Indian dinner. If you get any doubters about Indian dinner show guests this -- it is to die for. Thanks." T.L.&M.L., Redmond, Oregon, USA (December 12, 2001)

"Dear Marleine & Alain: We can't begin to tell you how much we enjoyed our stay at Turtle Nest Inn. Everything was wonderful & we will definitely return to see you, Blackie & all the friendly dogs! What a fabulous vacation. Thank you so much for everything!" B.M.&M.M., Laurel, Maryland, USA (December 9, 2001)
"Dear Marleine and Alain: We thoroughly enjoyed our stay with you. Your thoughtfulness was greatly appreciated. We definitely will return to your lovely island and suite #4. Russ is very sad to be leaving this lovely setting and will probably cry all the way home. Hope to see you both again real soon. We'll keep in touch via e-mail. Affectionately..." R.L.&L.L., Bridgewater, Massachusetts, USA (December 8, 2001)
"Turtle Nest Inn is truly a special place on Grand Cayman...it was hard to leave today. We are already planning to return. It was just a great time. We spent most of our time here doing our favorite things - beach, snorkeling, pool and just relaxing. It was great. Our room #5 was always kept immaculate by the housekeeping staff. We had a little road noise but everything else was fine. We liked being away from the 7-mile beach crowds and being around Caymanians instead - it was fascinating to hear the men play/chatter at McCoy's in the evening. We went to Stingray City three times with Capt. Dexter - recommended on TNI website. Small groups, great sailing back on the catamaran. Thank you, take care." A.A.&B.L., Monticello, Minnesota, USA (December 6, 2001)

The hospitality truly exceeded our expections. Thank You." C.L.&D.L.., Cameron Park, California, USA (December 4, 2001)
"Thanks Alain & Marleine: We had a terrific time on the island and enjoyed magnificient sunrises here! Much obliged for creating a romantic mood on the final days of the 'moon. Best wishes..." T.T.&W.T., Kirkland, Washington, USA (December 3, 2001)

"I can say we had a great time and look forward to returning. The meal was great and I thought the Cuban black bean soup was incredibly delicious. Again, our thanks and we look forward to seeing you again soon. It was the best vacation we have ever had. The accommodations and food were superb. If I had a want or suggestion it would be for an alarm/clock radio and a television in the bedroom. Other than that, the hospitality and value I do not think can be beat anywhere on the island. " E.B.&R.B., Overgaard, Arizona, USA (December 3, 2001)
"Thanks for a fantastic week! The Inn is perfect - just the atmosphere we were looking for. The tapas night was great. We will be back one day!" J.H.&C.H., Issaquah, Washington, USA (December 1, 2001)

Thanks so much for everything and we will send you the pictures of Andy, Olson and the fish!!" K.K.&A.K., Rehoboth, Massachusetts, USA (December 1, 2001)
