
Our policy regarding relations with travel agents
The management of Turtle Nest Inn welcomes reservations booked through accredited professionals in the travel industry, and guarantees them a 5% commission. The commission is calculated on the basis of our normal rates (excluding Accommodation Tax) as posted at our website (see "Rates").
We require a valid IATA membership number, along with the name and address of the travel agency, for commission payment, and we've adopted two methods, depending on how the accommodations are paid for. When full payment for the reservation is made at the time of booking, the commission can simply be deducted from the amount remitted, or is mailed out immediately via a US$ bank draft. When the reservation is booked with the minimum required deposit (see "Rates"), a US$ bank draft covering the amount of the commission is mailed out upon guest departure.
We invite travel agents to write or e-mail us for a supply of colour brochures which have space provided for affixing the agency's rubber stamp or label.
We do not grant a commission or discount to airline employees, or those working in other areas of the travel industry.
